Changing of Color Schemes
On historic Hubbard Street in Concord, MA, we were hired to repaint the exterior of this Victorian-style house. The result was an elegant C2 green with a soft white trim and a Mauve accented door color.
Our staff of painters sanded the peeling paint areas smooth with Festool EPA approved sanders and vacuums. Any residence built before 1978 is subject to RRP (Remodeling, Repair, Painting) State and National Laws for safe lead paintwork.
After the preparation was completed (a good paint job is 70% preparation, 30% painting) we primed the bare wood paint using a clear coat of C2 Guard (for preservation) and then a coat of Mad Dog Primer. The next step involves the finish coat. All the trim and window sash are painted, then the siding. Finally we painted what we like to call “the dessert” the accented doors and decks!
